I've long viewed architecture as a slow dance on the landscape, no doubt with inspiration from Vincent Scully's PUEBLO Mountain, Village, Dance. There is a rhythm to our habitation of the landscape. The photo above is of a hay barn structure from the historic Bradfield Ranch in SW Colorado, constructed in the 1800's. There is a patina of age, yet elements of the structure are reminiscent of a contemporary space frame structure. ...................
